Arturo Sandoval concert at Ohrid Summer rescheduled for Sunday


The concert by Cuban jazz musician and one the most famous performers of trumpet in the world Arturo Sandoval, which was to be held Saturday evening at the Antique Theatre was cancelled due to the storm that swept Ohrid last night.

Ohrid Summer Festival said the event is rescheduled for Sunday evening in the Centre for Culture “Grigor Prlicev” in Ohrid where Sandoval will hold two concerts – at 5pm and 7pm.

On this occasion we would like to thank the great Arturo Sandoval for his willingness to continue his stay in Ohrid so he could perform in front of the Macedonian audience, as well as to everyone who put an effort to the realization of these two rescheduled concerts, reads the press release by Ohrid Summer Festival.

We kindly inform all those who already bought tickets, but won’t be able to attend one of the rescheduled concerts, that from Wednesday on (August 10) they can return their tickets and their money will be refunded. More details and information about the location and the way of the refund will be announced additionally, press release reads.

On Sunday he will hold a seminar for students and teachers of trumpet and jazz musicians from Macedonia and the neighbouring countries as Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia and Romania.
