“Children of the Sun” premiere to close “Manaki Brothers” film festival

The 35th. “Manaki Brothers” International Film Festival has its closing ceremony in Bitola on Friday. The jury will give awards for best cinematographers, the gold, silver and bronze “Camera 300″. The festival will close with screening of “Children of the Sun”, a Macedonian premiere for the new movie by director Antonio Mitrikeski.

The jury includes well known directors, cinematographers and producers, such as Srdjan Dragojevic from Serbia, Simon Tanshak from Slovenia, Rebecca Toppi from the United Kingdom and our own Lazar Sekulovski. President of the jury is Giora Bejach from Israel. A total of 11 movies are competing for the awards.

All participants are invited to the big premiere of “Children of the Sun”, at the Bitola Culture Center.

This afternoon, the crew behind “Children of the Sun” will hold its press conference. Director Mitrikeski will be joind by the director of photography Jarek Shoda, producer Dejan Miloshevski and most of the cast. The team leaves Bitola for London, where the movie will have its world premiere at the Raindance international film festival on September 25.
