Gruevski visited the Film Institute in Ohrid (photo)


VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski together with Deputy Minister of Education and Science Spiro Ristovski, visited Wednesday the Film Institute- Film Academy Ohrid, which opened in 2015 and operates according to the curriculum of the prestigious Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.

Since 2015 Ohrid became the capital of film academy. The Film Institute, which was established as a public scientific institution by the Government, is an associate member of the University “Goce Delchev” from Stip, and and it offers master programs in its Department of screenplay writing and dramaturgy and the Department of creative production.


Ohrid occupies an important place in the global film map as students from all the countries in the region are learning directly from some of the best professors in the field.


This Film Institute has grown into a regionally recognized higher education institution, and is another pillar in strengthening the position of the Macedonian education internationally.
