Gruevski: We are ready to go into opposition and fight against illogical and harmful demands

If SDSM accepts DUI’s demands, we are ready to go into opposition and as an opposition we will do everything in our power not to accept the demands in Parliament, which are unreasonable and detrimental to the country, the VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski said in Saturday’s interview on TV Nova.

“Such demands are not helping neither Macedonians nor Albanians, but will only disrupt the peace and stability and will create additional animosity that in some cases is visible and will bring further disagreements”, Gruevski said.

He added that the VMRO-DPMNE party would like to help all citizens.

“We want to help all citizens, Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Roma, Vlachs, Bosniaks, Serbs and others to have a better life through the economy, new jobs, increased salaries, pensions, social assistance, employment, improved opportunities for youth, seniors, retirees, farmers, education and healthcare. We want to help with problems with the use of language, but only if they are logical, explainable and understandable. Not something illogical that someone wants to use to make a turn in the elections, to deceive Albanian voters with some national-romantic offer that essentially will get them nothing special, but it will make a huge problem and damage across the country, including large economic costs and problems in everyday life,” Gruevski said.
