Defence Minister Zoran Jolevski during his visit to the US met Wednesday with representatives of the Heritage Foundation, McCain Institute for International Leadership and Sally Painter, member of the Board of Directors of the Truman National Security Foundation.

The meetings addressed issues related to Macedonia’s success in managing the migrant crisis and manner of cooperation with the countries in the region. Moreover, talks were focused on the efforts of the Macedonian government to organise fair and democratic elections next month, which would end the political crisis in the country, Defence Ministry said in a press release.
