Latest TV Telma poll also shows that VMRO-DPMNE has convincing lead over SDSM

TV Telma said that, according to the results of its latest poll, on Sunday we will have the most uncertain elections so far. The poll conducted from the period between November 20-30, in which 1,800 respondents participated, shows that the difference between the two major coalitions, the ruling coalition led by VMRO-DPMNE and the opposition led by SDSM has been reduced by 0.9 percent, but is still in favor of VMRO-DPMNE. Last week’s poll of TV Telma showed that the difference on December 11 will be 4.8 percent in favor of VMRO-DPMNE, while according to the latest poll the difference has dropped to 3.9 percent.

On the other hand, the results of the telephone poll conducted by “Pavel Satev” Institute show that the ruling VMRO-DPMNE party enjoys the largest support among citizens at the upcoming early parliamentary elections with 27.8% followed by SDSM with 16.2%, DUI-4.8, BESA-3.2, DPA-2.3, Alliance for Albanians-1.5, Levica-0.9% and Coalition VMRO for Macedonia-0.5%.

According to the poll, citizens trust Nikola Gruevski the most – 28.3%, followed by Zoran Zaev with 10.7%.

50.4% would choose Nikola Gruevski for Prime Minister, while 14.1% Zoran Zaev (without Albanian respondents).

According to TV Telma’s poll, conducted in electoral districts, in the fourth electoral district where list carriers are the leaders of the major parties, Nikola Gruevski and Zoran Zaev, respectively, the difference is only two percents in favor of Gruevski.

According to the Brima Galup poll released two weeks before the elections,  25.8% of voters would vote for the ruling party VMRO-DPMNE and for the opposition party SDSM 16.7%. Support in percentages surveyed amongst the Macedonian electorate is 35.9% for VMRO-DPMNE and 21.6% for SDSM.

TV Telma’s poll shows also huge advantage of VMRO-DPMNE over SDSM among Macedonian respondents. The results of the poll indisputably confirm the results of Brima Gallup – Support in percentages surveyed amongst the Macedonian electorate is 31.6% for VMRO-DPMNE and 23.1% for SDSM.
