Macedonia at business forum “France-Balkan 2018″ in Belgrade

A Macedonian delegation comprised of companies, Economic Chamber of Macedonia, Macedonian Chambers of Commerce, Invest Macedonia and Ministry of Foreign Affairs takes part at business forum “France-Balkan 2018″, organized by the French investment and development agency “Business France” in Belgrade.

The business forum, which brings together over 400 companies from 12 countries, aims at enhancing trade relations with France, stimulating investments and regional cooperation.

The focus of this year’s event is placed on the agriculture-food industry, information technology, automotive industry, tourism, infrastructure and the energy sector, especially renewable energy sources.

“This is the first large event at which French companies express serious interest for regional cooperation, including Macedonia,” said Daniela Mihajlovska Vasileva of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia.

The total trade exchange between Macedonia and France in Q1 of 2018 amounts to US$ 50,3 million, which represents a 67.7 percent rise compared to the same period last year.
