Macedonia’s pavilion at Venice Biennale


Macedonia’s pavilion has been opened at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice (La Biennale di Venezia) under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.

The exhibit ‘Findings’ represents Macedonia at this eminent international event, which brings together 66 countries. The exhibit’s curator is Jovan Ivanovski, who worked on the project along with Aleksandar Radevski, Ana Ivanovska Deskova, Ognen Marina, Bojan Karanakov, Vladimir Deskov, Goran Mickovski.

Macedonia’s exhibit is displayed at the Arsenale, a complex urban estate of high historical importance, which also hosts the pavilions of Albania, Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Peru, South Africa and Turkey.

Macedonia has been participating in this event since 2004.

The 14th International Architecture Exhibition, entitled Fundamentals, will be open to the public from June 7 through November 23 in the Giardini and the Arsenale.
