President Ivanov meets Trump, Putin at the WWI commemoration in Paris

Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov joined US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanjahu and other world leaders hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War in Paris.

Official photographs show President Ivanov talking to Presidents Trump and Putin, while the first lady was seen with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the US first lady Melania Trump.

President Ivanov, accompanied by the first lady Maja Ivanov, was welcomed in the Elysee Palace by President Macron and the first lady Brigitte Macron. The President attended the formal dinner, organized by President Macron and was set to speak at the Paris Peace Forum, taking place on Sunday evening, which was opened by Macron, Merkel and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

Other regional leaders attending the commemoration in Paris included the Presidents of Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Kosovo, as well as the Prime Minister of Greece.
