Tetovo police nabs three mosque robbers


Tetovo police informed that it has apprehended three Albanian citizens, who are suspects in the theft performed on Tuesday morning in a mosque. The three suspects, aged between 21 and 28, are believed to have entered the mosque through an unlocked door, stealing money from two metal collection boxes.

“The thieves left the mosque, but later returned, likely intent to continue looking for valuables. This time they were spotted by an employee, who called the police”, Interior Ministry spokesman Marjan Josifoviski said.

The court ordered their deportation back to Albania, with a five year ban on entering Macedonia.
