VMRO-DPMNE launched its pre-election campaign in Ohrid

The coalition ‘For Better Macedonia’ , led by the largest opposition party in Macedonia – VMRO-DPMNE – has launched late Monday its campaign for 2017 local elections in Ohrid.

VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski invited citizens to exercise their voting right, to support the party’s new program and candidates who achieved tangible results and worked for citizens’ better future.

‘Citizens will have an opportunity to present their opinion about the new vision, energized, refreshed VMRO-DPMNE, which brings 150.000 jobs, higher salaries, pensions, subsidies, better health care, education, stronger democracy, EU and NATO membership,’ Gruevski told the party supporters.

President the party’s candidate for Ohrid mayor, Gruevski said the upcoming poll was not only a vote for municipal authorities but a referendum for citizens to voice their opinion on the developments in Macedonia for the last four months. He dedicated a large portion of his speech to criticize the incumbent SDSM-led government and, as he said, its failure to keep the promises.
